THE BASICS

How many guests can the venue accommodate?

The venue accommodates up to 300 guests and works well for a wide range of wedding sizes. Most events fall in the 150 to 300 guest range, but the space can also be configured to create a great experience for more intimate weddings with fewer guests, including events around 50 people.

Is the venue fully indoors?

Yes. The Pumphouse is a fully indoor, climate controlled venue, allowing your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to all take place comfortably regardless of weather or season.

We also offer an optional outdoor ceremony space for couples who want it, while still having the confidence of a fully indoor experience as the foundation of the day.

What is included with the venue rental for weddings?

Your rental includes exclusive use of the venue for the day, including the grand hall, indoor ceremony space, bridal suite, groom’s lounge, commons, and foyer.

Tables and chairs are included, along with WiFi, climate control, and a layout designed to create a smooth, connected flow throughout your event.

PACKAGES & EXPERIENCE

What is included in the Signature Experience?

The Signature Experience includes everything in the Classic Rental, along with our full black linen collection, napkins, cocktail tables, and table décor.

It is designed to give your space a more complete and cohesive look while simplifying your planning by reducing the need for outside rentals.

What is the Grand Weekend?

The Grand Weekend includes everything in the Signature Experience, along with extended access to the venue.

This includes Friday time for setup and rehearsal and Sunday time for cleanup, giving you more flexibility and a more relaxed overall wedding experience.

FOOD, DRINK & VENDORS

Can we choose our own vendors?

Yes. You are welcome to bring in your own vendors, including catering and bar service, as long as they meet venue guidelines.

We also provide preferred vendor recommendations if you want trusted options that are already familiar with the space.

Is alcohol allowed? Can we do BYOB?

Yes, alcohol is allowed.

You may work with an approved bar service vendor or choose a BYOB option with prior approval. For BYOB events, a facility use fee applies to cover use of the bar space, equipment, and overall setup.

We’ll walk you through the details so everything is clear and easy to plan.

Do you have a preferred bar or catering partner?

Yes. We have preferred partners available for couples who want a more streamlined and coordinated experience.

You are not required to use them, but they can be a great option if you want guidance and a team already familiar with the venue.

Is there a kitchen available for caterers?

Yes. The venue includes a prep kitchen for catering use.

It is designed for staging and service rather than full commercial cooking, but provides a functional space for your catering team during the event.

Do you require a bartender for BYOB?

We do not require a specific certification or license, but we strongly recommend using experienced bartenders to ensure safe and efficient service for your guests.

Can we host both the ceremony and reception onsite?

Yes. The venue is designed with dedicated spaces for each part of your day, allowing your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to flow naturally without needing to move locations.

What makes The Pumphouse different?

The Pumphouse offers a fully indoor wedding experience in a historic industrial setting, combining original character with a layout designed for comfort and flow.

With expansive space, high ceilings, and flexible vendor options, it creates an environment that feels both distinctive and easy to make your own.

DETAILS & LOGISTICS

What tables, chairs, and linens are available?

Tables and chairs for up to 320 guests are included with every rental.

Our Signature Experience also includes black table linens, napkins, cocktail tables, and table décor to create a cohesive and finished look throughout the space.

Can we hang décor from the building?

Because of the historic nature of the venue, décor cannot be attached directly to brick or structural elements in a way that could cause damage.

If you have a specific vision in mind, we’re happy to talk through what works best in the space.

Are candles allowed?

Yes. Candles are allowed as long as the flame is enclosed in glass.

Can we hold our rehearsal at the venue?

Yes. A weekday rehearsal is included with your rental.

If you would like additional setup or rehearsal time closer to your wedding day, that is one of the key benefits of the Grand Weekend experience.

BOOKING & PLANNING

How do we secure our date?

Your date is secured with a signed agreement and deposit.

We’ll guide you through the process so you know exactly what to expect and what comes next.

Do you require event insurance?

Yes. Event insurance is required for all weddings.

If you choose a BYOB option, additional coverage may be required. We’ll walk you through what is needed during booking.

Is lodging nearby?

Yes. There are lodging options within driving distance, and we’re happy to provide recommendations.

Because of the rural setting, we also encourage couples to plan transportation ahead of time if guests will be drinking.
